OUR SERVICES

Counseling & Psychotherapy

Ana Sierra Counseling / Consejería, PLLC offers evidence-based individual, couples, family, and group therapy for adults seeking professional mental health support. Our clinicians use trauma-informed, culturally responsive approaches to provide goal-oriented care.

This is not a crisis service.

Invest in your wellness. Healing begins with the decision to show up for yourself. Whether you're navigating individual challenges, relationship dynamics, or family healing, we're here to support your journey.

Getting Started

New clients begin with an initial consultation to assess clinical fit and identify treatment goals. From there, a treatment plan is developed in collaboration with the clinician. We accept self-pay and can provide documentation for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance provider. Contact us to inquire about current availability and fees.

Clinical Approaches

Our counseling and psychotherapy practice serves individuals, couples, families, and groups navigating a range of clinical and life challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, acculturation stress, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and identity concerns. Treatment is evidence-based, conducted in English or Spanish, and tailored to each client's unique clinical presentation and goals.

  • A structured, evidence-based approach that helps clients identify and shift thought patterns that contribute to distress, developing more effective coping strategies in their place.

  • Sessions are guided by the client's own goals, pace, and priorities. The clinician's role is to provide a professional, supportive environment for that process.

  • Rather than focusing exclusively on deficits or diagnoses, this approach identifies and builds on the skills, resilience, and capabilities the client already brings to the work.

  • A practical, results-oriented framework that emphasizes identifying concrete goals and developing clear strategies for reaching them.

  • For clients navigating issues of cultural identity, acculturation, immigration stress, or discrimination, our clinicians incorporate culturally informed perspectives into the clinical approach.

  • Used as a complementary clinical tool to support focus, behavioral change, and psychological work in appropriate cases.

Therapy Approaches We Offer

We provide evidence-based therapy in four modalities, tailored to your specific needs and healing goals. Whether you're seeking individual support, working through relationship challenges, healing family dynamics, or building resilience in community, we have a therapy approach designed for you.

  • Individual therapy is a one on one model, it provides a private, supportive space to explore emotional concerns, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other sources of distress.

  • Couples therapy is an evidence-based approach. Sessions help partners identify unhelpful relationship patterns, strengthen communication, rebuild trust, manage conflict, and deepen emotional connection. Treatment is collaborative, culturally responsive, and tailored to each couple’s relationship dynamics, values, and goals.

  • Family therapy provides a supportive space for family members to improve communication, resolve conflict, strengthen relationships, and navigate life transitions together. Sessions focus on understanding family dynamics, identifying unhelpful patterns, and developing healthier ways of relating.

  • Group therapy offers a supportive and confidential environment where participants can connect with others who share similar experiences or concerns. Guided by a clinician, members develop coping skills, gain new perspectives, practice healthy communication, and reduce feelings of isolation. Groups may focus on topics such as trauma recovery, anxiety, relationships, personal growth, or life transitions.

Additional Services

  • An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letter is a formal document from a licensed mental health professional stating that you have a mental or emotional condition and that the presence of your animal provides therapeutic support. This letter can help you access housing accommodations and provide recognition for the important role your animal plays in supporting your well-being. Our evaluations ensure the letter is professional, compliant, and tailored to your needs.
